Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Inside Apparel Society (“IAS”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website and our Supplier Onboarding Form, where it is stored, who can access it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 6 November 2026

1. Information we collect

We only collect information that you choose to send us through the Supplier Onboarding Form:

  • Company and contact details — such as your legal company name, contact person, business email address, company website and the other answers you give in the form.
  • Documents and images — the company profile, product photos and other PDF, JPG or PNG files you upload.
  • An optional factory video — one short MP4, MOV or WebM clip, or a Google Drive link that you share with us instead.
  • Technical information — when you submit, we record a one-way, non-reversible hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string. We use these only to prevent spam and duplicate submissions; we do not store your IP address itself.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you submit to review your application, assess whether your business is a fit for the Inside Apparel Society network, contact you about your application, and introduce suitable businesses to you where you have asked us to. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Where your information is stored

  • Form answers and documents are stored in a private database and private file storage operated for us by Supabase, hosted in Mumbai, India. The storage is not publicly accessible.
  • Factory videos are uploaded directly from your browser to a private folder in the Google Drive account of Inside Apparel Society. Videos are not shared publicly and no public link is created.
  • This website is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site securely.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and data-protection terms. Because they operate internationally, your information may be processed outside your country, including in India and other countries where those providers operate.

4. Who can access your information

Submissions can only be viewed by members of the Inside Apparel Society team whom we have explicitly authorised as administrators. Administrators must sign in, and documents and videos are shown to them only through private links that expire after a few minutes. Our access to Google Drive is limited to the files and folders created by our own upload system.

We may share information about your business with a prospective buyer or partner only as part of an introduction you have asked for, or where we are required to by law.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your submission, documents and video for as long as we need them to assess your application and, if you join the network, for as long as you remain a member. If your application does not proceed or you ask us to delete it, we will delete your submission, files and video from our database, file storage and Google Drive, unless we are required by law to keep them.

6. Information saved in your browser

To protect your progress, the form saves your typed answers in your own browser (local storage) until you submit. Uploaded files are not saved there. Successfully submitting the form clears this saved copy. You can also clear it at any time through your browser settings.

7. Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Files are checked on receipt to confirm they are the type they claim to be. Storage is private, administrator access is restricted and time-limited, and the credentials used to reach our storage are never exposed to your browser.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you have submitted, or to stop using it, at any time. Please quote your submission reference (for example IAS-20261106-ABC123) so we can find it quickly. Depending on where you are based, you may also have rights under local data-protection laws, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

9. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, reply to any email you have received from our team about your application.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or storage change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
